A.PREFACE
Learning in adulthood is an intensely personal activity. Yet at the same time, a multibillion-dollar enterprise has arisen in response to adult learning interests-an enterprice these spends more dollars than elementary school, high school, and post secondary school combined. Indeed, the field of adult and continuing education is characterized by a bewildering array of program, agencies, and personnel working to assist adults in their learning. It is precisely the focus on adult as learners, how ever, that unites an otherwise extraordinary diverse field. It is also the nature of adults as learners and distinguishing charateristics of the adult learning process that differentiate adult education from other kinds of education.
Preparation for work with adult learners ranges from on the job training to formal graduate course work, but key component of all the different modes of preparation is understanding adult learners and how they lern best. To facilitate the process of learning, it is especially importent to know who the adult learners is, why adults are involved in learning ability. Learning adulthood addresses these topic among others.[1]

B.DISCUSSION
Syllabus and Content.
A group of adult education, anxious to lern, can be a formidable one for a new and experinced teacher to meet. Many of those helping in adult clases are not teacher by profession and to begin with, at least, they will be unsure os themselves. The most effective way of building up confidence quickly is to be sure of one subject matters, have the demonstration, lecturer of course well mapped out beforehand and have a few trick of the trade ready to hand to enable the subject to be taught in the best and most understandable manner.
The different ways in which student and subject can be grouped into lecturer, seminars, weekend school. Some subject are best suited to one form of group organization, others will be best suited to another form. When planning the course, careful thought should be given to this framework within which the subject matter is to be arranged and the appropriate one, which suits the students and tutor best, should be chosen.
The problem involved in the arragement of teaching matters vary from one type of adult education to another.[2]
a syllabus provides a focus for what should be studied, a long with a rasionale for how the content should be selected and ordered.
Basic Rules When Arranging a Syllabus.
It is worth mentionning some of most useful rules which experince has shown lead to the most acceptable teaching result :
1.      Begin with the known and work toward the unknown. Here the student is quickly able to relate his new knowledge to that which he already has and it makes it more understandable and useful.

We want to make syllabus for english lesson, the frist learning for the beginner is knowing the vocab at english before going to sentence or story, the benefit from this basic is to facilitate adult when learning at english lesson.

2.      Proceed from the concrete to the abstract. Especially in fundamental education where the level of student is such that theory cannot easily be grasped. Another way of pharasing this is to proceed from the particular to the general, where general principles are built up from individual cases.

3.      Move from the easy to the more difficult. With ideas and teachniques, this rules should always be followed. More complicated ideas and teachques can be gradually introducted as those learning grasp the simplifed form first.

When  a teacher teach  khot lesson, obligation for teacher to start from the easy to the more difficult, exsample, a teacher order the sutdens to draw the letter so continue to draw the vocab, after that continue to draw the two vocab and the last to sentence. For beginner, a teacher has to order them to draw from the easy sentence to difficult sentence.
Relationship between androgogy and syllabus is education, a education need a syllabus for planning when lern the adult, so that teaching and learning activity run smoothly to acieve its objectives, as we know, andragogy without syllabus it is nonsens there is not destination.
